Carl, I mis-spoke. I need the lock cylinder housing, cylinder, key, and the linkage that connects to the latch. I have the latch that keeps the lid closed but it is now operated by a solenoid and I want to re-install the key/lock assembly that mounts on the outside of the trunk lid.

Gene   I misread your post, thought you needed the part that bolted to the trunk lid and not the lock assembly.not sure if I still have one but I will check  Carl

Carl, Is it complete with whatever connects the lock to the trunk latch? I don' t have an original so I really don't know what it looks like. Is the chrome good and does it have a key?

The lock assy. is sold in classic Ford and T-Bird catalogs (#43603) for about $37.00.

I want to buy a trunk lock assembly for a '55 sedan. Prefer everything down to the trunk lock mechanism (I have the lock mechanism) including the linkage. The trunk on my car was filled and a solenoid installed. I want to reinstall the original key operated release. Thanks, Gene
