I just got the replacement Flex Plate for my Fordo from Macs. There are 3 reinforcement Rings that go on the mounting Flange. Where are they supposed to be installed? One each Side and one Extra or 2 and 1 on which Sides of Flexplate? Anyone installed One of these Replacements?

I would be calling Mac's.

Mac's Tech says they are used to shim/space the Mounting Bolts. Bolts should not protrude past the
Crankshaft Flange but the Bolts should engage as many Threads as possible. Bolts can be spaced to fit
within these requirements. Don't know why they don't just put that Information with the Spacers.

Everything I do I end up doing over again I guess at how things should be installed and I am usually wrong.
