When writing replies or adding a new topic, after a few words are typed in the cursor goes back to the very beginning.  Anyone else having this problem?  Doesn't do it on any other site.

Yes, I've had that occur in recent times also and not just on this web site.  It's also occurred on gmail accounts that my wife and I have on the two different computers we use.

Paul, I'm glad you reported this occurring.  I was suspecting our computers as having the problem.

While this doesn’t happen to me on the YBF site, it happens on my yahoo mail account quite frequently.  On the mail account, you’ll be typing along and then you suddenly find yourself typing in the address bar.  With all the different operating systems floating around, it’s truly a wonder there’s not more problems than what they are.
