Condensers all run just 6 volts, it will work just fine.

I am swapping out the Load-A-Matic distributor and Tea Pot Carb on my 1955 292 with a rebuilt 1957 point and condenser distributor and a new Holley 1848.  I want to leave the car at 6 volts for now.   Will the 12 volt 1957 condenser work with 6 volts or should I use a 6 volt condense in the 57 distributor?
