Wilsontbird has a wide assortment of Tbird parts. I bought some parts from them before.

Why did you replace the springs in the first place?  In a Bird, these almost never go bad.  If they worked good and you still have them, put them back.

Hi, Did you keep your old Hood Hinges ?  If so,  there are some good repair companies out there that do an excellent job. I had mine rebuilt & was very satisfied and it has been years. . Just google Hood hinge repair & you can find them.  There is one in Va, and one in NH.       Mike

I don't think my first attempt to post this worked.

I replaced my hood springs when rebuilding the 55 Tbird. Now these new springs are garbage and the hood almost killed me. I can't find NOS Springs. Anyone add a hood prop for safety? If so what kind?

The car is amazing and it's a gift for my daughter but I need to make it safe.
