I had to buy a Universal Flex Type Lower Radiator Hose for my 56. Not real happy with it. Is there another Molded Hose that Fits without paying the Price on Repro's with the "Ford" stamped on them? If someone has a part # and Maker like Gates or Dayco I can buy it locally. Upper Hose would be helpful too. Buying the Repro's and paying the Cost to ship to Canada usually doubles the Price. Looking for a more reasonable Option.

If you have an old hose take it to the parts store. They can match up the curve angle and size on another hose. Take that home and cut it to fit. At least that's what I've done.
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

’56 Ford? Dennis Carpenter has the Ford Script hoses for $22 and the part number is B6A-8286-B. Two years ago I did get a lower hose at the local O'Reilly parts store for my ’55 Ford so something equivalent was available then.

The problem I have is that nothing is available in Canada. Either through the local Parts Stores or anywhere online. Not even a basic Radiator Hose. By the Time I purchase from US Sellers and add the mailing Cost and Exchange Rate they are double or more than the original Purchase Price. I did find these Hoses at EarlyV8.com site for about $10.00 each which I think is very reasonable. My Sister is coming from Colorado at the end of Month so I will order these and ship to Her and She will bring them N/C. I really envy You Guys in the USA with easy Parts availability. Pickup the Phone and the Parts are at your Door in 3-4 Days. There's really nobody North of the Border that sells anything for our Cars. All has to be imported from US with accompanying mailing Cost and Exchange Rate. I guess I shouldn't feel bad. The Overseas Members have it even harder.

Mark: I'm not aware of your Canadian location, but have you tried NAPA, or Lordco (out west)? Even Canadian Tire sometimes has some vintage listings. And if you're near the border, you could avoid bothering your relative & have U.S. parts mailed to a postal drop outlet just across the border & then pick them up. - Paul

I went to Napa amongst several others looking for a Hose to order.. Tried to order One of the Napa #6 Stats even using THM-6 as a #. They had no idea what I was asking for.Different #'s in Canada and USA. The only Hose for lower I could get was a Flex Hose which I am using for now until I get a proper molded Hose later this Month. Even looking on Ebay for Hoses all I can find available for Lower is made probably by Dennis Carpenter and sold by a bunch of different Sellers. I couldn't find One aftermarket moulded. Even Rockauto doesn't list a molded Lower Hose.Other than Gaskets trying to buy almost anything else up here is frustrating. My Sister comes here about twice a Year. I got several small Items sent to Her to bring with Her at end of Aug. As far as getting a PO Box in States I am about 2 Hours or so away. Something to think about I guess. I am near Kingston in Ontario. As it turned out the Early V-8 Store did not have stock on the cheaper Lower Hose at $10.00. Ended up with Dennis Carpenter Repro's from them. At least I get to replace this Flex Hose.
