Anyone know about back up lights.  I get power to everything except those. I'm guessing the connection down by the steering shaft is the same copper "buttons" that are on other old switches. Could it be an adjustment?

My neutral safety switch was altered by the previous owner to fit newer exhaust manifolds. Going to Plan B.

For years Ford's power source for backup lights came through the headlight switch.  If the lights were not on, the backup lights would not go on.
