Ok, thanks. One thing I did learn today - it doesn't come with a throttle linkage hook up.

Strombergs are still produced, including a bigger version which flows quite a bit more than the old ones. http://www.stromberg-97.com/carburetion/big97.aspIt's just another option. I don't know much about the Edelbrocks or how they compare to the Stromberg.

Here’s the link to a Y-Block Magazine article about a 272 with the 'new' Edelbrock 94 carbs on a Edelbrock 3X2 intake. http://www.eatonbalancing.com/2015/06/05/hopping-up-the-272/

I actually bought a N.O.S. Holley 94 still in box off eBay with manual choke just like my car has, so I'm guessing 1955 or so? But it looks as good as the day it was new.
