I was browsing a website that has old car brochures. Stumbled on a '54 Ford Police car brochure. They showed a 160 horse 256 Cubic inch 4 barrel engine. Mercury I assume. Anyone have one or seen one. Did it have dual exhausts. I recall hearing that '53 Ford Police cars had duals but never seen one.

The 1954 Ford police car package included dual exhausts.  Early on I put the 1955 Police exhaust system under a 1954 Victoria and all the ’55 brackets and hangers fit perfectly.  The 1953 Ford police cars were the first Fords to be offered with factory installed dual exhausts.  Karol Miller provided me some Ford documentation showing that the 1953 dual exhaust parts could be retrofitted to the 1952 V8 cars.
