Do any of you have a stupid simple wiring diagram with wire color codes for a 56 Fairlane? I started taking some of the spaghetti out from under my dash and may have gone a little too far. I've replaced the starting circuit with new wires, the old ones were a fire waiting to happen. I pretty well stayed away from head and taillights but have a few wires that seem to go nowhere. I've also had a long going problem with the light wiring. I'm using some one wire lights behind the grill for turn signals. They were hooked to the existing turn signal wires and I made sure the parking light wires were terminated. Problem is brake lights turn on the front turn lights. I vaguely remember a plug could be switched on the multi plug junction block and cause this but that's about it. If you can help you can EMAIL them to me at 56vicky@comcast.net Chuck

I purchased a beautiful laminated complete wiring diagram from www.ClassicCarWiring.com (917) 861-9131 and it's saved me more times than I can count. All colors of wires are listed, solids and with tracers, fuses, connections, etc. Was less than $20.00.
