1) I'm rewiring my 56 Fairlane, as the original stuff was really hacked up.
There are supposed to be some circuit breakers, but they are non existent.
I have some new ones but have NO idea where they were originally
mounted.

2) There are also a couple of terminal blocks for the wire harnesses to
plug into. Does anyone know where they were mounted up under the
dash?

Thanks for any help on this
Jim

I'm not real knowledgeable on 56's but have wired many 57's and typically the only circuit breaker is built into the headlight switch for the head lights only and everything else is inline fuses. I would suggest on of these wiring diagrams, I love them and have one for each of my cars.

My '53 Tudor has 2 breakers mounted way up under the dash above the radio, a 30 amp and a 15 amp. The IGN switch and headlight switch are connected to them, and the cigarette lighter. The only junction blocks are under the hood and are used for the headlight/parking light wiring. My '55 Merc has a junction block near the bottom of the steering column for the turn signals and horn. I suspect your car may be the same regarding the breakers since Ford didn't change the wiring scheme drastically until the '57 model year.
