I'll be retrofitting a factory power brake assy. (under dash, K-H) on my full size '57 Ford. The factory manual and illustrated parts book don't show the intake manifold fitting or the hose routing from manifold to the vacuum tank or where the tank to booster hose goes through the firewall. Also I'm not quite sure where the tank mounts on the inner fender. Could someone here please post a photo or two of their setup or point me in the right direction? THANKS

I don't have a 57 Ford but in looking at the 1949-1959 illustration catalog, page 49 shows the items you were asking about. I have a 57 T-Bird and it do not know if any of the hardware are the same or can be used.

The T-Bird is totally different. Someone on the '57 Ford site may have the info. I don't have a '57 passenger car but am looking for a Custom and am a member there. Also lots of cross over info there. A good friend had a '57 with power brakes back in the day and I remember it being an odd setup.

Is that the way your Bird is configured? I'm wondering if cars are the same. I found a knockout on the firewall for the the air intake filter on the bellows but I still need to know where the vacuum hose goes through the firewall and where exactly where the reservoir tank mounts on the inner fender. Still searching the internet for photos and info but no luck so far.
