Always thought a Ford should have a Ford motor. A '57 scruby with a loaded 312 would be a hoot. Had a friend who raced a '55 scruby with a 289 Ford in it back in the day just to iritate the scruby guys.

Henry would be proud of this one.  Not a 312 Y but this is a Ford Flathead V8 in a ’57 C h e v y.

I have a buddy who whacked the top off a 52 scrub. Made it into a roadster. Stuffed a 59AB block with 3-2's, Fenton's and a 4 speed.
      The Bowtie Boys would go nuts at our local car shows when they saw it! Sold it to a fella in Sweden, (who found out he couldn't drive a car with ANY modifications in Sweden on public roads). Now has a 54 Plymouth Convert with a Hyper-pak slant six. He's not entirely normal, but fun to be around!!
