My Friend wants to change the Carb from Teapot to Holley like I did on mine. I changed my Intake to the later "B". He doesn't want to change the Intake. Speedway has 2 Adapter Plates. 1351935 and 1351935B. Is there still room for a 1 inch  Phenolic Spacer? Which One do I need and what is the Difference, I know I need a later Distributor. Got One.Thanks.

He needs the "B" unit .
It allows for the smaller intake manifold bolt pattern to accept the wider later Holly bolt pattern carb.
As for a spacer - depends on hood clearence. What kind of car is it going on?

Is the Transdapt 2064 another adapter that works for this Swap?  Any other Choices?

Just careful you don't go too high you might end up having trouble with the carb linkage, You'll start bending it and so on, and it might not work so well with the shift linkage if its an auto of course.

Transdapt will also work.
The Transdapt does not say weather it is a tapered venturi like the Speedway  "B" unit has.
Either will do the job.
Pay attention to what Talkwrench is saying. I had a hell of a time with a gentlemans auto linkage on a 55 Vic with the kickdown and a later carb setup.

Ok Thanks. I did my Conversion and other than having to bend up a Link between Bellcrank and Carb it was pretty straight forward. Checked and adjusted the Kickdown Link. The difference this Time will be a 1848-1 Carb instead of the 8007 Carb. I have another "B" Manifold but my Friend wants to use an adapter instead of changing the Manifold. He had the Engine rebuilt this past spring with stock Teapot and Loadomatic. I let Him drive mine and the difference was like night and Day. So We are going to do His in the Spring. Just rounding up the Parts to do it now.

Try the adapter by itself.  If issues arise related to the carb getting hot, phenolic spacers are available as thin as 1/4".

Even though the adapter is tapered, it still may not be an exact match to the manifold.  Check it, and if he agrees, at least pull the manifold to open up the bores to match the adapter.
