Good Morning gentlemen, Does anyone know where I can purchase original looking plain blue floor mats for my 1956 mercury Montclair? Can anyone send me to a site to see what original mats were available for the car? Thank You in advance

What kind of mats? The mats the factory put in when cars didn't have rugs, like in convertibles ? 

55-56 mercury mats are rare indeed but were available when the cars were new. I have looked for them for quite awhile and finally found a set for the front and rear. Right now I'm trying to get Dennis Carpenter to copy mine for reproduction ones assuming they haven't found any on their on.

I had the same problem with my 55 bird. No mats for the light green interior. Several places will make mats, hemmed edges, heel pad, etc. from the OEM carpet. That's what I settled for.
