This is my first post after just registering.  I am working with a 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser convertible with the 368 inch Y block motor.  This is the same as used on the Lincolns.  I didn't see any current posts  or a search option to look for the info that might be available.  Is there a way to search the forum?

I've pulled the engine down and at the least I would like to find a new or good used cam.  Mine has pitting on the tips of the lobes and I am not sure that it would be able to repair with a grind job.  I think that the rest of the rebuild parts are available.

Any suggestions on suppliers of original parts?

Thanks for any help that you can give.  Billk
