On the bottom of Mr Mummerts  "ALUMINUM HEAD INSTALLATION"   it reads   "Torque manifold to  head bolts to 10 ft. lbs.  Check manifold alignment.  Finish tightening manifold to 22 ft. lbs. starting from center and working towards ends."

Pretty sure I have this info somewhere but can't find it now. Shop manual says 23-28 ft lbs . That's cast iron intake and heads. I have aluminum heads and intake. Hate to assume they are the same but it sounds about right. Anyone care to confirm this? Edelbrock says 25 ft lbs on their 427 Ford aluminum heads.
