Just joined this forum need some ideas to get this car to run like it should, has original holly four barrel, petronix ignition, have replaced intake manifold gaskets, new gaskets and inlet valve in carb, new motocraft plugs had to replace one with old AC plug for a miss on #7, engine idles smooth 475 RPM begins to get rough at around 550/600 RPM if I close the choke to 1/4" from closed it will smooth out, goes down the road good at highway speed will sometimes die at a stop in town, Thinking it is a carb problem I would like to keep the original that has never been a problem till this year but have not had luck getting the bug out of it.
