56 Merc block. Std. bore & crank! stored indoors for 15 yrs or so. Intended for a resto project, but owner has decided to convert to a F.E. engine.. I suggested to him that wasn't a good idea, but he isn't in the know on recent interest & developments re our favorite engine, and I didn't have time to get into a long explaination for him. So, I said I would post it for him. Located in Albany Oregon. Sorry, I forgot to confirm a price for it. Phone Marshall @ 541-928-8069

Hi Paul, I assume that the crank is still in the block. Has the block and crank been crack tested? What we now know is that both 312 blocks and 312 cranks are prone to cracks which generally makes them unusable. What price does the owner want? I am interested if crack testing has been or can be done. Thanks, Mal
