Slum, they worked on mine. 1/4".,I used a felt tip pen on the edges to make them black. Which WCFB's are you using...

That's really nicely done. Years ago when I ran an Offy tri power, I had to cut the back air cleaner down to clear the hood.
Could we get some more info on the hood? Difference in height, general shape, etc?

Hopefully I have a fix for that. I am in the process of installing a factory fiberglass hood with a raised scoop area. I intend to make the hood fit dual fours with spacers, tri-power with spacers, Mummert with spacers, and possibly a sheetmetal intake I am trying to design. Thanks to Gary Burnette for selling me a hood, and bringing it to Indy, and thanks to Ted for bringing it to Texas. I hope to have pictures available soon of some of the progress on this build. Joe, be careful with the 1/2 inch spacers. You might dent the hood when you close it. The passenger car used the 1/2 inch spacers but the Tbird used a stack of thick gaskets.

Thanks, everyone, I just received four spacers and gaskets with extended carb studs from the link Ted gave me. They were pricey, but I just trial fitted them on my ECG-D intake that Ted opened the bores up to 1 1/2" for me, and they fit nearly perfect. I finished porting the intake, and flowed everything on my SF-600 flow bench, so now I can get the teapot carbs rebuilt, and install for test drive. Joe-JDC

Used Dashmans for some phenolic spacers for a 3x2 Holley 94 set up. They worked perfectly and pretty reasonable priced if I remember correctly.

I bought a set of the phenolic spacers for the WCFB for my dual quad set up. Have them installed. Will see how they work. Should keep the carbs a little cooler than the stock aluminum ones.

Joe. I’ve used this guy on Ebay for custom built spacers. He does both aluminum and phenolic and I have received a discount when ordering several at a time. The next time you are by the shop, remind me to show you some of the custom WCFB/Teapot spacers this guy has made. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Small-WCFB-Carter-Aluminum-Carburetor-Spacer-Holley-Teapot-Intake-Riser-1-kit-/231851314579?hash=item35fb6a4d93:g:YioAAOSw~OdVXfWr&vxp=mtr

Mainline's suggestion is a good one. These are not cheap, but the one I saw was good quality...
