Drove the 56 to a car show in Lima Ohio last sunday.MATV was there filming a few cars and the picked our car for a feature car.Took a lot of video and did a short interview ,lucky I had my y blocks forever t shirt on. Suppose to air sometime this fall,and the old crown did get a award.Around 350 cars there.90 degrees driving back,and car never went above 190. Carl

I will post the date and time it will show when I find out,dont look forward to seeing my old mug on tv though The show was within a couple blocks where the engine masters was held so a lot of the students that go to the school there knew what a y block was Carl

Finally got around to checking gas mileage after the trip to Lima.The 56 got 17.8 mpg,312 ,3 speed with od,409 rear end,edelbrock 650 carb.Ran the car 70 mph most of the way,didnt think that was to bad of milage. Carl

That’s very respectable fuel mileage. Your engine is obviously in a good state of tune and everything is working properly.
