Hi guys,
Since getting a 56 F100 with a 272 y block 6 months ago and knowing nothing about engines I have come a long way... But I still have a copious amount of learning to do! Anyway, I have stripped the block, had it & the heads decked and am about to do a rebuild.

I'm not after huge hp but I want the engine to sound a bit tougher, so my question is- what cam can I use to get the result I'm after but retain most stock parts? Happy to upgrade essential parts but don't want a domino effect.
