Power Steering question been looking online at a power steering unit from a Co. called UNISTEER  they sell what they say is a bolt on rack and pinion steering kit. Just curious if anybody has ever had any experience with these people. Thanks Dave

Unisteer is best know in the street rod side. What car do you have, and what are you looking to do? Having put a R&P in my 'bird, and finally got rid of the bump steer, I'll help if I can.

I really don't know anything about a 59. But I can tell you that replacing a 3 sector 57 box in my 55 bird with a R&P really didn't accomplish much. If you're not in an engine swap/header problem or some thing else, a good rebuild would be my first thought. Or the factory parts for power steering if you don't have it. There used to be an outfit call Gearhead that sold converted GM boxes. If they're still around, don't go that way. Maybe Borgenson or others.
