Morning all, former member here coming back to the fold! I won't bore you with the details but my '59 Galaxie has lain dormant for the last three years while real life got sorted out & I managed to keep her out of the hands of the lawyers. Now there is money to spend on her again...

My galaxie is a 292-motor with the 2100 2-barrel Autolite. The only deviation from stock is the fuel pump, which has been bypassed in favour of an electric pump. I am looking for a replacement carb, as mine is damaged beyond repair. Is some kind gent able to point me in the direction of a list or webpage that will show suitable replacements for this? I'm not after huge HP gains or massive performance upgrades, just a stock carb that will pull my old beast down the road again.

If you’re looking for a new carburetor, then a Holley two barrel will get the job done.  Here’s a picture of a Holley List #7448 that will bolt to the 2V intake in place of the current Autolite carb.  This one is 350 cfm.  You can figure on having to reroute the fuel line.
