Can't really help with the skirts on, but I'm running 225/60 15's on the front. 7" rim 3.5" backspacing. Just clears the upper ball joint. Maybe could go to 235. My car has a R&P, so turning is limited by the steering gear. Stock steering might hit at full lock. Rears are 235/60 15's, 7" rim 4" backspace. Really tight without skirts. I had to center the body to clear, and the rear is a triangulated 4 bar (Art Morrison kit), so very little lateral movement.

I have G78's on mine, but the biggest problem with the STD suspension is rubbing on the skirts on anything other than moderate speed cornering.

ian, Any room to put a panhard bar under the back? I've never looked into it. My car is very original so I am reluctant to make changes. They are bias ply and have a wide wall compared to tread width. I will go to a STD width tyre or something close to standard when they are due to be changed. But I will go to radials. For now it is slow on the corners.
