the t bird has a hose connection from the reservoir that the 55 fairlane doesn't have. So you need a PS pump with a banjo fitting instead of the hose connection on the reservoir. Most 55 t birds have the banjo fitting so the pump you have might be a late 55 or a later model pump.Car you post a picture of the pump you have. Won't it still work a a passenger car? I thought the bird brackets just tilted the pump for clearance. I'd think you could sell the bird brackets for more than the pass car brackets would cost.

I purchased this item from ebay, all I saw was 1955 Ford, didn't see the t-bird part, I tried to withdraw my bid but it was to late, I honor all my bids so I bought it , all is wrong is that it needs cleaned up. $65.00 plus shipping. Other than the brackets it should be the same pump Carl
