Starting my 272 y-block build and am in need of an ECZ-9425-B intake manifold. If you have one available, please let me know your price including shipping. Pictures are required. I am new to this forum but have done many forum transactions on other sites such as kawiforums and zxforums (for my old hobby).
If you have a distributor that will work with a newer carb as well, that would be great to know. My 56 dizzy will not be compatible.
I am located in San Diego, CA 92106
Thanks, Chris

Mummert makes a fine aluminum manifold and he's in El Cajon. By the time you find an old cast one, clean it, and pay shipping you'd be well on your way to the alum. one. Just my .02$ http://ford-y-block.com/ Barry L

I'm inclined to agree with Barry. But you might need to port match the heads, depending on what you've got. Or, if you can get lucky on an B in good shape and close. John might have one of those, and he's good to deal with. It would be worth a phone call or two to get him.

just spotted this. I have never purchased via this website so cannot vouch for it. Don't look to far away http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/312-ford-ecz-9425-b-4bbl-intake.951788/stuey

From the pictures it looks like a good one and worth the money advertised.

Mummert is $450.00 but I can assure you it will be of first rate quality. I just bought one at the Charlotte Auto Fair for $200.00 but they are getting rare, the guy didn't want to sell it. The last one I saw on ebay went for $291.00 plus shipping but it was sand blasted and clean , I have to get mine sand blasted, If I was going $300.00 buck I would go with Mummert the price difference would be worth it.
I purchased a alternator bracket for my 272 55 fairlane , it fit like a glove.

Mummert is into several generations of the intake and they get better every time. Its worth the difference in price.
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Thanks for all the replies. I have dealt with Mummert a few times now and have nothing but good things to say. I was hoping to keep most parts period correct, otherwise I would invest in his alum. intake.
Purely a cosmetic/purist decision.
