A couple of years ago,my 56 Fairlane was destroyed in an accident and when I started to replace it,I came across a 55 Customline Tudor that had been parked in a garage since 1963.67,000 miles and never driven in bad weather or parked outside in the sun,so was rust free and looked like new.I have since converted this car into a 56 Fairlane and as a result,I have the following parts for sale.
272 engine and FOM
Complete front suspension and steering linkage, steering box, column and steering wheel.
Stainless side trim and tail light housings with lenses.
Complete dash with all working gauges, speedometer and clock. No radio, the chrome faceplate only.
Complete grille and parking lights.Grille and one parking light are very good, and the other light has slight pitting.
I also have several other 55/56 parts for sale, including engines(3 272s one with G heads and one .080 overbored 292) and transmissions.Complete setup to convert an automatic car to straight shift.
Left front fender.Door, hood and trunk hinges,
Some other parts too numerous to post.
I have no idea how to post pictures on here, but can e-mail them if someone wants to see the parts.
I have not put prices here because I'd rather talk about them on the phone.
I am not able to pack and ship any large items,so they would have to be picked up here at my home on I-70 in central Missouri.
Prices will be very reasonable, because I need to empty my shop as we are getting ready to downsize.
