Besides the price, the other rule should be a location for the parts in question so that shipping can be calculated or compensated for. I’ve pinned a topic to the top of the classifieds category at least requesting a price and location for items being sold. Maybe that will help. Beyond that, it’s up to the buyer to determine the validity or honesty of the person selling something. That means due diligence in doing some internet research on the seller and also requesting additional information or pictures of the item in question. As far as pictures goes, then it’s up to the buyer to again do some research and insure those pictures were simply not borrowed from some other site on the internet.

This is a nice intake and carb set up with most of the linkage. Was last used on a 312 in the 70's. Located in central N.J. Bruce a4278v@yahoo.com You're dealing with a tough crowd here but for good reason. As the economy and political climate in Washington declines, there are more and more scammers looking to make a quick buck. The more information you can give, all the better in alleviating some of those 'scammer' fears.
Now that we've gotten past that 'Welcome to the site' introduction, more information on the dual quad setup would be nice. The particular carbs being used and details on the intake manifold itself would help. There were no fewer than eight different dual quad intakes available for the Y back in the Y’s heyday. Is the air cleaner available, WCFB, Rochester, Teapot carbs, Etc. For the right price, I would even be interested.
