What rocker shafts do  you guys think are the best? (just the shafts not the rockers), I will have a lot of spring pressure (180 on the seat), I am leaning to a new set of FoMoCo shafts however Schmanns look good.

Shumman's or Mummerts should be fine and tested for hardness, material properties etc. i wouldnt trust others as they could be offshore junk.

From Mummert's past Ads I believe he & Schumann (Schumann's Sales & Service, Blue Grass Iowa) sell the same H.D. Rocker Shafts. Unfortunately, I have not seen a printed Ad from Schumann's in years, so what he has available isn't known to me for sure...

I use the Schumann shafts almost exclusively for all Y rebuilds and Y roller rocker arm setups.  The Schumann shafts are manufactured to the original Nascar specs which includes the slots across the oil holes.
