Wow John, 10.42 @ 128, that is crazy. Who would have thought this was possible with a door car! The advances that have been made in the last five years are nothing short of amazing. I guess that I am going to have to upgrade my stuff!

I know that a few people from here in Bishop went and said the races were great. They also have a pretty good swap meet from what I heard. I hope to make it there next year.

We spent a couple of days at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield this past weekend. The weather was perfect and the track prep is first class. Todd's Falcon got a few surprised looks when they saw the Y-Block under the hood. Both Todd and John Hildebrand went a number of rounds with Todd getting down to the final 6 cars out of a 100+ field in the Hotrod class. He finally went out with a red light start Todd's best time was 10.42 at 128mph Thursday morning. During eliminations the car ran very consistent 10.53-1054's.
John had his Yates headed Cleveland in the 31 coupe because we didn't get the Y-Block ready in time for the event.
The March Meet is quite an event with hundreds of cars in Nostagia brackets from 10.60 down to 7.60 seconds. Nostalgia dragster and Funny car classes also with numerous 240mph passes and a few in the 250mph range.
