Carson: Just for info. I think your buy request may be the 1st I've ever seen for Edelbrock valve covers.. While J. Mummert has dealings with that companies casting dept, Vic Edelbrock ( the 2nd) has in the past been uncomplementry towards our favorite engine, once describing it as "terrible!"... .

Edelbrock y-block Ford valve covers are 'rare' as Paul indicated. Because of this, I've only seen them offered for big numbers. There is a set currently offered on eBay Motors. On the eBay site, search item number 201280216792 The 'Buy-It Now' price is $699 plus the shipping cost from Kentucky. Hope this helps.

They won't make it go faster but they sure look good. Going rate 6 or 7 years ago was about $350. I've since seen them in the $500 range. They come up very seldom and they aren't reproduced. Good luck.

I still think the T-Bird valve covers are the best looking ones anyone ever made.

Thanks for the info fellas ... BTY .. they are not for my la Carrera Mexican high speed taxie but for a local hot rod builder that has a nice '34 w/ a 292 and wanted to match up the Edelbrock covers to other bits on the engine . Ps . My dad was in the Road Runners car club back in da day w/ Vic Edelbrock Sr. giddy up

Vic senior of course, did fairly extensive work & castings for Y-blocks.. There are several types of aftermarket valve covers for our engine, including I believe repops of the original T-Bird covers. I think Mummert has a couple of valve cover types available..but the're not Edelbrock's..
