I started working on my 55 crown floor boards and of course they  are more rusted than I thought. The cost of new panels are varied in price. I saw on ebay a pair of rear pans for $135 but for one side from ems is $185. I'm not like the guys on tv with an unlimited bank account, but I would like to do a good job putting my car together. any advice would be appreciated,  thanks

I assume that the front floor pan is more involved than rear pans?  And considering what a good 55 Crown Victoria is worth, $185 may not be a bad investment.

I bought all 4 floor pans and both toe boards for my 55 Crown form Macs.  They are a little over size so you have room for trimming.  Be sure to check your body mount brackets,  mine were filled with dirt and sand from 8 years living on a country road and were badly rusted out.  Unless you are going to build a concours car they should be fine.

Been there, done that. I bought the macs. I also have other panels from EMS. The Mac 's panels looked like three blind monkeys made them. I had to do extensive work to get them in. Very crude. Go with EMS. There is no way they could be any worse!
