Just came through my email, RockAuto has a closeout sale on certain Fairlane stuff..  Catalogue Wholesale Closeout Part Listings : 1956 FORD FAIRLANE 4.8L 292cid V8  .Things like a repair sleeve normally $80 now $7. sealed power piston rings about half price, rear main seal kit just over $4.etc...

DAMN!   LOL oh well, paid more money but by gettin my engine kits from John Mummert, at least I feel really confident that I have all good quality US made parts!

Also on the negative side, while I've never dealt with them, can we presume that another Ford Y-Block parts supplier, Rock Auto, is discontinuing service?

went on ther site for piston rings,no stock,in fact not aney deals i could find,can do beter local as lordco has agood source got rocker shafts for 30.00 canadian had to waight for 2weeks.

Rock Auto is just a BIG online auto parts supplier for ANY car. I have bought a reco- Cardone dissy through them and other parts for my Cuda. They can be very cheap and the supplier parts a listed so you know what your buying. Being in Australia I do cop the postage [but probably better than Macs]
