Loved the tour. I was last in Australia in the early Sixties and vividly remember the cars backing in diagonally on the streets in front of the stores. I didn’t see that in that video but it could have also been something particular to the town I was in back then. Thanks for sharing the video.

Very cool, was really surprised by the palm trees. Much like our California and Florida areas.

Excellent. Was hoping there might be some on the street reaction to the car, but loved how it all fit together. If you're in the mood to see another '55 (also a 57 custom) check out my music video on youtube. Search for "Getting Out of Muscatine". I love these little videos ! Here is the link to yours Dean https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGLHNbR7xvsThe black 55 is not mine, i found it on the Shannons Insurance (Australia) website. I'm from South Oz, but my daughter and i spent a few days in St.Kilda last Christmas, so the surroundings were familiar.

Great video Slick I cruised through a couple of weeks back. And I agreed the garage door is pretty cool.

Well done - fair dinkum. Eddie had some good lines. He sounds like a bit of a Smart Alec and a funny guy,

Great - I like the way the garage door closes, never seen anything like that.

Thanks for the tour of St. Kilda! Great to see a classic ride with no snow. Sadly myY-Blocks are tucked away for another Canadian winter.

What colour was Slim Dusty's star model? In the black and white shot it looks a lot like my colour combination. My father was a Showmen (as I am too) and towed his caravans with Customlines and Mainlines. Slim Dusty and many other entertainers like Johnny O'Keefe cut their teeth on the show circuits. The reason I found and restored my star model was to show it off to my Dad but he died before it was finished

I love that little head on the left hand side of the front seat. Just like a little human being.
