I have a bare '56 292 block with main caps that has been tanked and sonic tested.  The problem is that it is a little thin for any over bore.  It has not bored at all and there as I remember very little ring ridge. I will dig it out and check tomorrow.  I would like to swap for another 292 block + some cash and hope that it comes with some more wall thickness.  We could exchange at Columbus if that would work for you. I do not want to keep it space tight for me.
I am coming to Columbus for Sat only (and without the T bird this year).  PM or E mail or just add a comment here.  Thanks in advance
