I pulled the 312 out two years ago and have just put it back in... but I don't know where this part goes, its thin and all metal. I have two identical pieces

There should be four of these, they go to the underside of your exhaust manifold to protect the sparkplugs from the heat, the manifold bolts hold them in place.
