I went to the Back to 50s show two years ago, absolutely amazing to see that many hot rods in one place and I've been many times to Hot August in Reno. We walked the fair grounds for hours and lingered on the 30s thru 50s Fords but I don't think I saw 2/3 of the cars, And deep fried cheese curds and a cold beer how midwest cool is that.

Sounds like a good time.  Maybe next year. Will have to see how things unfold then.Could I catch you in a caravan as you pass through Iowa?  There's strength and peace of mind there.  No one wants to be stranded and alone along the side of the road in a 60 year old car.

drove my 55 over a thousand  miles last week end to back to the 50's car show in St Paul MN over 11k cars there /its put on by the MSRA at the state fair grounds in St Paul /nothing  newer than a 64 allow/lots of 55-57 fords with Y blocks/its something that you need to put on your bucket list to do
