Ted (5/17/2014)

Since the last forum software upgrade, picture posting on my end is gone. I simply get an error message saying that the instance of editor cannot be found.  While I can look at the pictures posted as attachments, that is also cumbersome so I typically avoid those.  There is suppose to be a 'patch' coming that will address the picture posting issues.

I hope also a patch for email notifications.

In the linked example, it is because they are included as attachments rather than a part of the body of the post.

Some people seem to be able to post pictures and others cannot.  Using a hosting site like photobucket seems to work because it doesn't rely on the forum software.  See Ted's instructions at the very top of the "This n That" forum

As long as we are talking about the forum software. When I click on an image link, it downloads the image, instead of displaying the image in my web browser. A result of the forum software using some sort of weird microsoft aspx software, rather thank just showing the image. I realize this is an issue with the forum software, but is there any way around it? As an example, this post http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/FindPost104368.aspx (randomly chosen - no offense intended) has two images linked in it. When I click either image, it downloads, then I have to go to my downloads folder, find the image, and open it up with an image viewer. Enough of a hassle that I've stopped looking at images. And based on the image view count I see in almost all posts, it seems most people are avoiding this as well. On the very small chance that the site admins could do something to fix this, that would be AWESOME!
