Need just the dipstick or the tube or both?  Macs or Carpenters should be able to fix you up with a new replacement.  You might also see if Mummert has anything listed.

If the engine is apart or the oil pan is off so that the threading debris can be caught, then the dipstick hole can tapped to 1/4" NPT and a universal dipstick installed. Here’s the link to a previous thread showing this.  I use the Canton universal dipsticks on a majority of Y rebuilds for both front and rear sump oil pans.

Neither mac's or carpenter show  Yblock dipsticks.  Pan is on, engine in car.  Need only the stick

I recently got one from Macs for a rear sump y-block. measures approx. 21 1/4" from little cup thingy to the pointy end. would it be too much different to a front sump version?

I have a 21 1/4",  that is too short on one of my motors, if that works for you.
My tube goes to the center level of the pan on a truck application. Other than filling it with oil is there a way to figure out the correct length? Either 251/4" or 261/4"?

Still looking.  The 21 1/2 is too short.  My old one is 23 1/2 from the top of the cup to the end.  Will take any dipstick that is at least that long

Paul; I found one from a Y that measures approx. 22.5" from the cap to the end- it's possible the cap may have relocated itself over the years, though. Any other way of accurately measuring for what you need?  /Duck

Duck - as I mentioned, the old one is 23 1/2 but I remeasured and found that the marks are above the 22 1/2 length.  So if you want to sell, I 'm interested.

Thanks
