How in the world does someone end up with that many clocks?

And... no windup clocks for the 55 Ford to boot - they are all electric!

If you are a dealer and clocksmithing is your trade, this seems like a good deal to me.

Sounds like he scoured his local wrecking yards and got every clock he could find. I did something similar about 30 years ago where I collected just about every Cadillac crest I could find off the hoods of the cars that were in a few of my local wrecking yards.

He would probably have better luck trying to sell them one at a time rather than the entire lot at once. Funny, but I need a glove box clock for my 37. They come up now and then on Epay, but they want a lot for junk. Even back in 37 they made a wind-up and an electric version of the clocks that mounted in the glove box door.
