Im looking for a good four barrell carb that I can get cheap and put a kit in. I also am on the hunt for a balancer that has a double pulley. This is for a 272 Y Block, intake ECZ9425B.

Darrel there is a double sheave balancer on Ebay (its been there for months so I think the price is too high; $230 or so) (search Ford Y block pulley).  Also there are single add on pulleys, used by lots of people, out there that would be less expensive but they tend to ask a premium for those too.  Also John Mummert has an aluminum double sheave add on pulley as does Borgeson (these would give you three pulleys though). I seem to recall that the add on pulleys are problematic if you have the high mount fan found on early (1955 I think) trucks. Watch for belt groove size.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Mark, I actually came across one of the add ons in my storage stuff. I did get one on ebay awhile back that is the one piece, two pully. Thats saved and set aside for another project. The one Im looking for now is just in case I decide to do a Toyota Power Steering swap to my F-250 Flatbed.
