Doesn't look like ARP makes head bolts or studs for the Y block. Anyone have a preference for a brand or package that I should look for?
Thanks in advance.

I typically use ARP for the Y head bolts if grade eight bolts are not provided with the engine. While ARP does not offer a kit, they are available individually as a custom order. Mummert also offers the Y head bolts as as kit. Another option is Fastenal or your local hardware store for grade eight bolts. Here’s a link to a past thread giving the ARP part numbers suitable for use as Y head bolts. http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/FindPost162034.aspx

Thread deleted...found the bolts and washers from a couple different suppliers.
Man...I hope replacing the head gasket is easier than finding the parts to do it! Thanks.

I went to the cat dealer, ther grade 8 bolts worked well, some needed trimming. heads of the cat is thicker, they are true grade 8,which s a must. my current 292 is 4years old no leaks no need to re torq. I did run a botming tap into all threads ,and used a dab of great on the bolts. .torqed to the ford suggested
