Beaver Springs Dragway had their Jalopy Drags yesterday. It's a real neat event. I'll post pictures when I get the chance.
I got to talk with the owner , Beaver Bob and traded him one of Jerry's t shirts for a Beaver Springs t shirt.
He would really like to get a y block race at his track. He had an FE race this year. I don't know about what dates he was thinking.

Last year I gave him a Y Block magazine. This year I showed him the tower run sheet from sunday, and he said oh, you beat Ted. I don't know if he's following from the magazine or if he's here on the website.

He said he'd like to get some supercharged y blocks to his track.

Yes, Beaver Springs is a great track and I don't think a better track owner exists, Bob's house is right in the pit area.

I made it up again this year and got 5 passes in with my 55 crown victoria. Even though I was not happy with the times it turned I had a great time talking to and meeting new people.

For those of us not conversant with Beaver Springs Dragway, where is it?..
