Chuck, We are not running on Thursday, but some guys go into the track to set up our pits and drop their trailers ,and camp over on Thursday night. The track still charges to get in the same as race days to cover insurance.

Wow, 65 dollars each . Our insurance for Finnish Ford Nationals costs about 70 euros and that covers disasters up to 500000 euros and that is paid by the organizer. And we charge 20 euros from drivers about drag racing and other 20 euros if willing to go to track. Ok, Columbus is huge event as far as I know and we had only about 130 cars driving and about 200 cars as spectators.

Did I see it correctly that the track does not open on Fri till 11 am? Has anyone confirmed this time? I wonder why so late usually we are making passes by then.

I can envision a massive traffic jam about 9:00

Ill be there wednesday, have to work in Detroit Tuesday then going to drive down wednesday, only like a little over 3 hour drive according to Mapquest. My brother is going to meet Chuck in NH and ride with him, Ill turn the rental car in in Columbus and ride home with them. We wont have any car with us but there will be plenty off pit crew help.

I have some 8' wood top tables we used when we setup outdoors. They are folding with a top of marine grade plywood and varnished. Basicly a two person, or one younger guy, carry. There are four of them that havn't seen the light of day for at least 10 years. If you want them they are yours! Chuck
