Over the last several years I've been selling my collection of NOS and used 1957 Ford parts on eBay but eBay's and Paypal fees have gotten so expensive that in order to just brake even I have to ask well over market price for my parts. I've gone from selling 70% of the parts I list to about 20%, is there another on-line auction that you would recommend?

Frankly, because I've gotten very little responce from my ads here (old sight) and many items that I have I don't know what their true value is, by using an auction the auction will set the value. If your on an auction sight that has 3 million viewers and you have a one in a million item, you have 3 bids.

As far as the local craiglist goes, you have to update the add everyday or it falls down the list to 10,000 add which nobody will see. Also, I listed my 62 Galaxie on craigslist and the only responses I got were from advertising agencies wanting to sell my car for me for a fee, send them $250.00 and they will sell it for me, Ya right, my phone was ringing off the hook with these guys, If they want to buy my my car, then buy it and resell it for whatever they want, but stop running my minutes over with these useless calls.

This topic moved as it's a better fit in the This N That section. I'll add that if using Craigslist, it's important that you include keywords to help with searches. I very rarely go through the list of 'stuff' for sale on Craigslist but do use the search feature. Ted.

Actually after you become more familiar with craigslist you will find that you can do a National search on anything and wherevere in the country it is for sale will show up. that is how I get call from around the States.

You should at least try a list of parts and prices in the classified section. Let us look them over first.
