I sold that engine 5 years ago and no the 57 didn't have PS.I am looking at a couple 56 Merc Montclairs that has PS but havent been able to come to a reasonable price for the cars with the owner,dont think the 56 and 57 have the same PS systems Carl

I know of a 60 merc in a junkyard that has a 312 and would the p/s parts be the same.
