I have no idea what these guys are trying to accomplish (or what they are saying), however it at least shows a couple of good views of the phase 2 y block with the 289 style argi heads & an attempt to get them running.  (starter sounds more 289 than y block to my ears)

Good catch.  It looks like there is some sort of spacer doesn't it.  Oil pump drive must be interesting as well.
