My heater core on my 01 Expedition is leaking pretty good... looks like I need to tear out the entire dash and then some to get anywhere near the heater core. Any of you fellas do this one lately on the Ford 1/2 ton trucks/expeditions? Any pointers or tips? Looks like I will be waist deep into this one for a while.

Daniel, Try over on the Ford Trucks Enthusiast Forums; 1997 to 2002 Expeditions and Navigators Forum. Perhaps they can give you some tips.

thanks for the tip! Lots of information on there, and some guys give the step by step instructions. Looks like I will need the better part of a day at best.

LOL - some of those guys were just plugging up their heater hoses or throwing a bunch of stop leak in the radiator! Tongue
