What's happening/happened in Columbus? It looks like the weather may be a problem. When I checked the weather forecast, it said 70-80 percent chance for rain in Heath, OH most of this weekend.

Harry Hutton and Greg Dietrick (sp?) In final round...Mr Pinto makes a 3-peat! The weather held ought throughout the day, allowing all racing to be done on Saturday, since today was going to be almost 90% rain. As soon as the last round ran, and people started loading up, the rain came, and pretty hard. I am glad to have been able to go this year, and enjoyed seeing a lot of the guys. Some of them may not have remembered me, since it was 7 years since the last time I was able to go, but it was fun , and I enjoyed meeting and talking to Mr Vic and seeing his wicked T-Bird. Hopefully, it wont be that long before I get to go again, I have really missed it since moving to Mississippi. Maybe, if things go well, I can bring mine next year, even if it is still 292 powered. See you guys soon...

It was wet, but they managed to get most of it in. The REAL fun is swapping lies, seeing old friends and new ones. Checkimg out everybodies rides, and seeking tech help. There are no "Prima Donnas" in this group. In fact the most accomplished racers are usally the first to try and help. While the rest of us are trying to come up with an answer. Good times.

Gary, Increase the traction with some nice big slicks, go faster and see what breaks next, I have been doing that my whole life. My theory is I will stop at 11.5 when they make me have a cage. A 3200 pound car with a Y-block not so impossible anymore.

Vic, your car was impressive the whole weekend, GREAT JOB! Yes you have got me to thinking, and one option is to NOT give my heads and intake to Frank just yet . I am looking at what's available in tires for future runs, just don't want to over kill and take all the fun out of it ,gotta make it spin alittle .
